Here at Starplan Fitted Kitchens, we’ve noticed that we’ve been focusing more on the modern styles of fitted kitchen and we’d like to give some love back to country styled and country themed fitted kitchens. Here are some handy little hints and tips that you can bring into your current kitchen and country-ify it!
Creating a country fitted kitchen!
Wood and country kitchens are a match made in heaven! And you can help the environment if you decide to bring in some reclaimed wood. Whether that’s with a new dining table, new chairs or even some free standing wood furniture. If you wanted to bring it in a more subtle way you could choose wooden accessories such as photo frames, wooden knife block, tableware etc.
Patterns are also very commonly found in country kitchens. You can really push the boat out and choose some funky patterned floor tiles, or if you didn’t want to go all the way out with tiles you could get some high quality luxury vinyl tiles instead.
To go alongside the floral, funky patterns that you may chose, we would suggest pairing it with neutrals or white tones. Using white as an overall base colour will help make anything else you bring into the kitchen pop! Not only will white help to enhance your fitted kitchen, it will help the room actually feel bigger, brighter and airier. Perfect for if your kitchen is slightly smaller than you would like it to be.
