Here at Starplan Fitted Bedrooms Showroom, we have such an appreciation for wooden home and bedroom furniture! That’s why we decided to create a quick blog that talks all about the positives of wooden sliding and fitted wardrobes!
Wooden wardrobes
Wood is an extremely sturdy material when it comes to building furniture, especially larger items such as wardrobes. They’re strong however, they can be on the lower end of the price scale. That means you’re definitely getting your moneys worth. You can choose from a range of woods, depending on what style choices. Hard woods include oak and teak, or you could go for soft woods such as walnut and pine.
They’re also incredibly easy to maintain. If your wardrobes need cleaning, it’s as simple as using a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove any dust or light surface debris. If you do want to use a chemical based cleaner, always read the directions and test on a hidden part of the wardrobe.
We’d also recommend keeping the pieces of furniture out of direct sunlight as the sunlight can have an effect on the natural colourings.
It’s also an easy way to bring the outdoors into your home. It can help bring some warmth into an otherwise clinical or cold setting.
