To ensure we keep all customers & staff safe we have implemented the following measures in our stores.
All Starplan staff are required to pass a temperature test at the start of each work day. Any staff member with Covid 19 symptoms or if any of their family members have experienced Covid 19 symptoms will be required to self isolate in accordance with HSE guidelines.

Each store will be thoroughly disinfected at the start and end of each day and throughout the course of the day.  All touch points within the store such as handles and drawers will be consistently disinfected. Perspex screens have been installed at all consultants desks in-store.

All customers coming into a store will be asked to disinfect their hands at our hand sanitising station and wear a face covering. 
We would ask customers not to enter a store if they have symptoms or been in contact with anyone who has had the virus in the last 14 days.

Customer appointments are recommended to ensure a designer is available when you do come into store.

2m social distancing signage will be on display throughout the store.

Our stores are very spacious but occasionally we may also limit the number of customers in the store at any one time.


Delivery & installation of bedroom furniture & kitchens
Safety of our customers and staff is of the utmost importance therefore we have implemented the following:

Our delivery and installation teams attending a customer’s home will be temperature checked before the start of each working day and will be equipped with relevant PPE such as a mask and sanitising gel/spray.

Our delivery and installation teams will need to confirm daily that they have not come into contact with anyone displaying symptoms of Covid-19.

We will ask customers to maintain social distancing within their own homes whilst our delivery and installation team are onsite. Preferably distance themselves in another room.

Unfortunately, any customers who fail to maintain social distancing whilst our delivery/installation team are on site may result in the delivery/installation team removing themselves from the site until it is safe to continue. This is for both our customers safety and our staff. All Starplan vehicles are thoroughly cleaned prior to the start of each working day.

All customers will be asked to confirm that they are not in self-isolation and that they have not been in contact with anyone displaying symptoms of Covid-19 (delivery/installation will be delayed if above confirmation cannot be given)

Our delivery and installation teams will have no requirement to come into contact with customers at any stage during the delivery or installation process. We do however require customers to sign off proof of delivery documentation and this will be completed maintaining social distancing guidelines.

We would also like to remind customers to have your room fully cleared prior to the arrival of our installation teams to enable them to fit your furniture.

Whilst Starplan will endeavour to comply with scheduled installation date, local government legislation may make this impossible.

Rest assured if due to Covid-19 related issues an installation date has been changed, Starplan Furniture Ltd will arrange a new installation date at your earliest convenience.

Covid-19 has created supply chain challenges for all industries. Although Starplan has plans in place to mitigate these issues as much as possible, there can be instances where a substitute product may be installed temporarily which will be swapped over once stock levels are normalised.

This is for both our customers safety and our staff.  All Starplan vehicles are thoroughly cleaned prior to the start of each working day.

In-store virtual design appointments will be available depending on customers circumstances.
